Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisedom.

That day was literally the most memorable day and I remember that very well when I was sitting on a chair during evening time and looking at the mesmerizing sunset. At the same time, came the voice of my mother who was calling “Payal, Payal, where are you?”. In the meanwhile a lady was crossing from there and asked to my mom that “Who is Payal?” Actually She was my new neighbour who was shifted in our society a day before. So she was unknown to our family members except my mom.

For a moment, that question hit me too and I became speechless for a while ..I was gazed upon the question that literally who am I . And after that, one by one my mind did not know how many questions started emerging that time.

And honestly speaking, I had no answer………. Nothing.

Now I had to find the answer to this answer, because even Google did not have the answer to this question. But………

Wo khte hai na jaha chah hoti hai waha rah ban hi jati hai..

The next day , when my mind was diveing in the sea of questions and I was just waiting for someone to asks me that “Why are you so tensed?” so that I can throw my all questions on him to answer.

But…… nothing happened like that.

At the same time ,my phone rang and you know what…. Prince sir(CEO of khabai Tech),was on the other side and he told me about something that my ears are not ready to accept.He really solved my problems unintentionally . No,no,……it doesnot mean that I was just asking my questions to him and he was answering that. Actually he informed me about a webinar session which was organized by womennovator with the incredible topic “Personal Branding” which has to be delivered byShilpa Ajwani (CEO Unomantra) on 19 May, 2020.

I was eagerly waiting for that session...

Now I'm dam sure that most of you guys may be thinking that … “What is Personal Branding and how this thing can solve my confusion?” because even I was of the thinking that how it's gonna solve my problem.

So, let me clear you that Personal branding is not like to make your company or brand like that, I know that on hearing the word “brand “ we connect it with any of the companies.But here the thing is to make your personal identity that everyone knows about you.

Now finally my curiosity came to an end and the session was started by Shilpa Ajwani mam (Influencer and CEO of UNOMANTRA) and Tripti Shinghal (Founder - Womennovator with some introductions and next to it there was a question that “What, Why and How about Personal Branding ?“

So lets move on to this question… ….

Now first thing , suppose that you are not present in a room and everyone knows you well who is present there. Then the things that will discuss between them about yourself , that is the real values of yours in reality in the eyes of others.

So , we all need that the things which will discuss about yourself is your own thinking that you wanted to be discussed by others about yourself. For that we have to first focus in purpositioning.

So guys, what is it….?, Do you know what this term (Purpositioning.) belongs to ?

Well, this word is made up of from two words, first one is – Purpose and next one is – Positioning.

No,no…… I am not talking here about your purpose of life, learing ,or doing something ,like that.I just wanna talk about Purpose of building personal brand.And then the next one is Positioning , it means that after building your strong personal brand what will your position in the society or we can say in eyes of others.

 

Well, everyone says that they are different from others and infact this is a real truth . But….. do you ever think in what ways you are different .If you are thinking about caste , color, race, religion etc.. this is also right ,but …….here this is not cent percent right.

And if this question comes to me and I have to answer this then my answer is…………..talent or skills…… That's because skills are the things that you may develop in yourselves .No one is talented or carrying any skills from his/her birth.But due to their hard work ,they really looks different from others.Infact everyone appreciates that yeah, this man is really different and had done a great job.

I think now you all are disparate to build your personal brand.Isn’t guys…… Yeah, so without wasting the time ,I wanna tell you how can we……..

Well, first of all you must have confidence in yourself and the next is…..trust because you know well ,what you know and what you don’t know about yourself.

So ,here I gonna tell you about 7C’s and here C means confidence.Now you might be thinking that what is the seven things about confidence , “I know only one meaning of confidence.”……So let me clear you that these things help you to be confident infront of others.

So, the first C is “Clarity” ……….It means that your work must contain purity,cleanliness.It just means that whatever you do,just perform in a clear way so that your performance becomes visible to other.

Next one is “Congruence”…….It means your personality information that you want to share with others .And as we all know that social media is a right choice.But……..now the question is in which platform…whether it is facebook,linkedin,Instagram and so on.Well, it doesn’t matter much more, but things that matter is your information . So you need to have similarities between the profiles that you have shared in all of these platforms.

Now, the next is “Content”…….It simply means the overall things about yourself.So,if you need to build your strong personal brand, you have to make a powerful content about yourself.

Now, the other one is “Communication” …………So let me tell you that communication consist more power in building your influence to others. Because this is the thing that tells your values /standard to others.And in context of personal branding we must have the right selection to which we have to communicate to enhance our brand.

Now , it’s turn of “Consistency” ………..It means that your performance must be regular in yoiur work.Suppose you are learning new things everyday or have doing something creative then post it, on which platform you have your identity.This will help you to enhance your personal /brand.

Are you feeling bored? ……………No na ………..Well if you are interested to build your personal brand then I know very well that your answer must be “no”.

So let’s move on next C which is “Connection “ …………..No,no, it doesn’t means internet connection, or power connection or something like that.It means that your connection to others. It implies that how many people know you and also you know how many people.These things belong to your connections nand for strong personal brand you have to make connections with a lot of people who is interested in your work.

And the last one is “Credibility”………….Do you know what is it?...Well Credibility means the things of yours that will make others to believe on you.Means , that you must be a trust worthy person so that everyone can easily believe on you .And this thing really make your strong personal brand.

Hence, these all these things i.e., What,Why and How about personal brand that makes your real identity in the society.

Now you must be pondering that after attending the webinar , did I got my answer....hope you did not have forgot my question that "Who am I?"........ So very proudly I want to say that ya!got my answer....Working on myself and all that 7 C's ....today am a proud Developer at Khabai Tech.
